DHAKA, June 15, 2025 (BSS) - The newly elected committee of Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) is going to take charge tomorrow.

To this end, the association is going to arrange a function at the BGMEA Complex in the city at 3 PM, said a press release.

On Saturday, Mahmud Hasan Khan, Managing Director of Rising Fashions, was elected as the President of BGMEA. He, along with a newly elected board, will lead the country's top apparel exporters' body for the 2025-2027 term.

In the new committee, Selim Rahman, Managing Director of KDS Group, has been named First Vice-President, while Enamul Haque Khan, MD of Ananta Garments, has been elected Senior Vice-President. 

The elected Vice-Presidents include Md Rezwan Selim, Managing Director of Softex Sweater; Md Mizanur Rahman, Managing Director of Fabrica Knit Composite (Finance); Vidya Amrit Khan, Deputy Managing Director of Desh Garments; Md Shihab Uddoja Chowdhury, Managing Director of Emitee Design; and Mohammad Rafique Chowdhury, Managing Director of Fashion Wear.
