SYLHET, Oct 6, 2025 (BSS) - Two youths were killed in a road accident in Khilpara area under Fenchuganj upazila of the district today.

The deceased were identified as Sufian Islam Nahid, 20, son of Masuk Mia of Char Mohammadpur area under Moglabazar Police Station in Sylhet and Ahmed Mohammad Sayem Ahmed, 14, son of Shawkat Ali of Mohammadpur area of Dakshin Surma Police Station.

The accident took place around 04:30 pm when a microbus collided head-on with a motorcycle, leaving two bike riders injured critically, said Moniruzzaman Khan, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Fenchuganj Police Station.

The injured were taken to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital where the on-duty doctor declared them dead.

The bodies will be handed over to the family after the autopsy, he said.

A case was filed in this connection.
