22.3pc growth of remittance inflow till Sept 9

DHAKA, Sept 10, 2025 (BSS) - Inflow of remittances witnessed a year-on-year growth of 22.3 percent reaching US$1018 million in the first nine days of September, according to the latest data of Bangladesh Bank (BB) issued today.

Last year, during the same period, the country's remittance inflow was $833 million.

During the July to September 9, 2025 of the current fiscal year, expatriates sent remittances of $5,918 million, which was $4,971 million during the same period of the previous fiscal year.
