19.3pc growth of remittance inflow till Sept 10

DHAKA, Sept 11, 2025 (BSS) - Inflow of remittances witnessed a year-on-year growth of 19.3 percent reaching $1,132 million in the first 10 days of September, according to the latest data of Bangladesh Bank (BB) issued today.

Last year, during the same period, the country's remittance inflow was $949 million.

During the July to September 10, 2025 of the current fiscal year, expatriates sent remittances of $6,032 million, which was $5,087 million during the same period of the previous fiscal year.
