23.7pc growth of remittance inflow till Sept 17

DHAKA, Sept 18, 2025 (BSS) - Inflow of remittances witnessed a year-on-year growth of 23.7 percent reaching US$1770 million in the first seventeen days of September, according to the latest data of Bangladesh Bank (BB) issued today.

Last year, during the same period, the country's remittance inflow was $1,430 million.

During the July to September 17, 2025 of the current fiscal year, expatriates sent remittances of $6,669million, which was $5,568 million during the same period of the previous fiscal year.
