DHAKA, Sept 18, 2025 (BSS) - The Amar Ekushey Book Fair 2026, the country's largest literary event will be held from December 17, 2025 to January 17, 2026.

The schedule was finalized at a meeting held today at the Shahid Munier Chowdhury Auditorium of Bangla Academy.

The decision was taken in view of the upcoming national parliamentary elections and the holy month of Ramadan.

Cultural Affairs Secretary Md Mofidur Rahman presided over the meeting, which was attended by Bangla Academy Director General Professor Mohammad Azam and representatives of the Bangladesh Publishers and Booksellers Association.
