17.6pc growth of remittance inflow till Sept 23

DHAKA, Sept 24, 2025 (BSS) - Inflow of remittances witnessed a year-on-year 
growth of 17.6 percent reaching US$2,164 million in the first 23 days of 
September, according to the latest data of Bangladesh Bank (BB) issued here 
today.

Last year, during the same period, the country's remittance inflow was $1,840 
million.

During the July to September 23, 2025 of the current fiscal year, expatriates 
sent remittances of $7,064 million, which was $5,978 million during the same 
period of the previous fiscal year.
