Remittance inflow witnesses 13.6pc growth till Oct 18

DHAKA, Oct 19, 2025 (BSS) - Inflow of remittances witnessed 13.6 percent (pc) growth, reaching US$9,159 million during the period from July 1 to October 18, 2025 which was $8,066  million during the same period of the previous fiscal  year.

According to the latest data of Bangladesh Bank (BB) issued here today, expatriates sent remittances of $1,574 million during the first 18 days of October, which was $1,523 million in the same period of the previous fiscal.
