31.5pc growth of remittance inflow till Nov 23

DHAKA, Nov 24, 2025 (BSS) - Inflow of remittances witnessed a year-on-year growth of 31.5 percent reaching US$2,271 million in the 23 days of November, according to the latest data of Bangladesh Bank (BB) issued today.
 
Last year, during the same period, the country's remittance inflow was $1,726 million.
 
During the July to November 23, 2025 of the current fiscal year, expatriates sent remittances of $12,420 million, which was $10,664 million during the same period of the previous fiscal year.
