32.3pc growth of remittance inflow till Feb 9

DHAKA, Feb 10, 2026 (BSS) - Inflow of remittances witnessed a year-on-year growth of 32.3 percent reaching $1,135 million in the first nine days of February, according to the latest data of Bangladesh Bank (BB) issued today.

Last year, during the same period, the country's remittance inflow was $856 million.

During the July to February 9, 2026 of the current fiscal year, expatriates sent remittances of $20,565 million, which was $16,818 million during the same period of the previous fiscal year.
