DSE announces semi-annual rebalancing of DS30 Index, adds 3 companies

DHAKA, July 12, 2026 (BSS) - The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) today announced the semi-annual rebalancing of its benchmark DSE Bangladesh 30 Index (DS30), with three companies being added and three others removed from the index.

According to a DSE press release, the changes were approved by the Index Committee in line with the index methodology and will come into effect on July 19, 2026.

The three new entrants to the DS30 Index are Bangladesh Steel Re-Rolling Mills Limited (BSRMLTD), The ACME Laboratories Limited (ACMELAB), and Power Grid Company of Bangladesh Ltd. (POWERGRID).

The companies excluded from the index are Kohinoor Chemicals Company (Bangladesh) Ltd. (KOHINOOR), Unique Hotel & Resorts PLC (UNIQUEHRL), and Linde Bangladesh Limited (LINDEBD).

The DSE said the semi-annual rebalancing is conducted periodically in accordance with the prescribed methodology to ensure that the DS30 Index continues to reflect the performance of the country's leading listed companies.

The revised composition of the DS30 Index will be effective from July 19, 2026, the press release added.
