64 gold bars recovered at Shah Amanat Airport

CHATTOGRAM, Feb 17, 2024 (BSS) - Customs Intelligence and Investigation Directorate (CIID) recovered 64 gold bars at Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram on Friday night.

CIID Assistant Director Abdul Motin Talukdar said a total of 64 gold bars seized the consignment which was wrapped in black tape hidden inside an empty seat of a Oman Air flight WY-311 in an abounded state that came from Dubai around 8.48 pm.
 
The value of the seized gold bars weighing about 7.5 kiilogram is around  Taka six crore.
