CHAPAINAWABGANJ, April 8, 2024 (BSS) - Congregations for Eid-ul-Fitr will be held at 439 Eidgahs in the district this year.

According to the Chapainawabganj district office of Islamic Foundation, 134 congregations will be held in Chapainawabganj sadar upazila, 104 congregations in Shibganj upazila, 60 in Nachole upazila, 114 in Gomostapur upazila and 27 congregations in Bholahat upazila.
 
Deputy Director (DD) of Islamic Foundation, Chapainawabganj Md Ashrafuzzaman said all preparations for holding Eid-ul-Fitr congregations peacefully have been taken.

The main congregation will be held at Chapainawabganj old stadium at 7.30 am and in case of rain or natural calamity it will be held at Chapainawabganj District Model Mosque at the same time, he added.
