25th BCS Forum pays homage to Bangabandhu at Tungipara

TUNGIPARA, Gopalganj, April 20, 2024 (BSS) - The newly elected committee of the 25th BCS Forum today paid rich tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Tungipara in Gopalganj.

 
Members of 25th BCS Forum led by its general secretary Md Shahidul Islam, deputy commissioner (DB cyber and special crime), Dhaka Metropolitan Police placed a floral wreath at the mausoleum of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
 
After laying the wreath, the members of the 25th BCS Forum stood in solemn silence for some time as a mark of profound respect to the memory of Bangabandhu, the architect of Bangladesh's Independence.
 
Later, they offered prayer seeking eternal peace of the departed souls of Bangabandhu and other martyrs who had to embrace martyrdom on the fateful August 15, 1975.
 
A special prayer was offered seeking longevity of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her family members.
 
Gopalganj Superintendent of Police Al-Beli Afifa, Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Khairul Islam, officer-in-charge (OC) of Tungipara Police Station Khandaker Aminur Rahman and 18 newly elected members of the 25th BCS Forum, among others, were present.
 
Md Shahidul Islam, general secretary of the 25th BCS Forum signed the visitors' book there.
