Pistol recovered in Jamalpur

JAMALPUR, May 11, 2024 (BSS)-Sarishabari Police today recovered a pistol, a magazine and two bullets from a house of a village under the upazila in the district.

According to police, acting on a tip off, a team of police raided the house of Rukan, 37 son of Abdul Motaleb of village Baushi Bangalipara under Sarishabari upazila and recovered the pistol with the ammunition.

Sensing police presence, Rukan managed to flee away from the spot.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sarishabari Thana Mushfiqur Rahman confirmed the recovery.

A case was registered with the police station in this regard.
