113 destitute people get cheques of assistance in C’nawabganj

CHAPAINAWABGANJ, June 6, 2024 (BSS) - Cheques of Taka 5,38,000 were
distributed among 113 poor students, patients and disaster-affected people in
the district on Wednesday .

Deputy Commissioner of Chapainawabganj AKM Galiv Khan distributed the cheques
as the chief guest.

A function was organised jointly by Chapainawabganj district administration
and Chapainawabganj district office of the Social Service Department on the
occasion at the ICT lab of the district administration with Additional Deputy
Commissioner (General) Ahmed Mahbub-Ul-Islam in the chair.

Among others, Additional Superintendent of Police Md Nuruzzaman and Deputy
Director of the Social Service Department Umme Kulsum spoke as special
guests.

It was mentioned in the function that Bangladesh Jatyo Samaj Kallyan Parishad
provided the fund for the fiscal year 2023-2024.
