July-uprising injured receives assistance in Rangamati

RANGAMATI, Feb 16, 2025 (BSS) - Eight injured students during the anti-
discrimination student movement today received financial assistance in the
district.

Rangamati District Council organised a reception programme at its Annex
Building here this morning where the injured students of the July-uprising
received Taka eight lakh and four thousands in cash.

They were also given crests for their contribution to youth in establishing a
discrimination-free society.

District Council Chairman and Agriculturist Kajal Talukder presided over the
programme while District Council Executive Officer Moinuddin Shibli moderated
it.

District Council members Deboprasad Dewan, Minhaj Murshid and Md Habib Azam
attended it.
