Competition in strengthening skills held in Rajshahi

RAJSHAHI, Feb 27, 2025 (BSS) - A skills competition was held at Rajshahi Government Survey Institute (RGSI) today, aimed at bolstering the sector of skilled workforce.
 
On behalf of its 'Accelerating and Strengthening Skills for Economic Transformation' project, the RGSI organized the competition for showcasing its innovation.
 
In the event, the students took part with their different innovative ideas, including building design and logo design, in separate stalls.
 
Executive Engineer of Education Engineering Department Abu Sayeed, Inspecting Officer of Bangladesh Standard and Testing Institute Zunayeed Ahmed and Manager of Paschimanchal Gas Company Limited Barkat Hossain Mollah addressed the ceremony as resource persons with RGSI Principal Amirul Islam in the chair.
 
The discussants unanimously urged the students to become entrepreneurs through boosting their competence instead of hunting jobs.
