TANGAIL, Feb 27, 2025 (BSS) - A man was killed and three others were injured in a head-on collision between a truck and a battery-run auto rickshaw near Golabari bridge under Madhupur upazila of the district today.

The deceased was auto-rickshaw driver Abdul Gafur, 50, 

The accident took place as the two vehicles collided head-on around 2 pm, leaving auto rickshaw driver Gafur dead on the spot and three others injured, said Russell Ahmed, Officer-in-Charge of Madhupur Police Station. 

The injured were taken to Madhupur Upazila Health Complex. Later, they were sent to the Mymensingh Medical College Hospital as their condition deteriorated.
