Man killed in Kurigram road accident

KURIGRAM, Feb 27, 2025 (BSS) - A driver was killed after being crushed under the wheels of a potato-laden vehicle in the east side of Dharla Bridge here today.

The deceased was Abul Hossain, 55, a resident of Bhangir Bazar area of Bhogdanga union in Sadar upazila.

The accident occurred around 2 pm when a potato-laden trolley cart turned turtle as its driver lost control over the vehicle and fell under the vehicle, said Habibullah, officer-in-charge of Kurigram Sadar Police Station.

He was sent to Kurigram General Hospital where on duty doctor declared him dead.
