MYMENSINGH, Feb 27, 2025 - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested a drug dealer with foreign liquor worth about Tk 7 lakh in Mymensingh.

Based on secret information, a team of RAB personnel conducted a raid in Shambhuganj area here and arrested the drug dealer with a large consignment of foreign liquor.

RAB-14 Commander and Additional DIG Naymul Hasan confirmed the arrest of Moynal Mia, a drug dealer and driver of an easy bike, at China intersection near Shambhuganj Bridge.
 
He said a total of 97 bottles of foreign liquor were recovered from the vehicle of the drug dealer. The battery-operated easy bike used for transporting the liquor was also seized.

The arrested individual has been handed over to the police for further legal action, while the seized liquor is being processed as evidence. RAB officials stated that the ongoing operation aims to curb illegal liquor trade in the region.
