Two banned BCL leaders held in Ctg

CHATTOGRAM, Feb 28, 2025 (BSS) - The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested two banned Chattra League leaders in separate drives on charge of attacking students during July uprising. 

The arrested were identified as Md Fazlur Rashid, 24, religious affair secretary of Chattogram South District Chhatra League and Monsur Alam, 38, ex-president of Banshkhali upazila Tanti League, said a press release today.

On information, a RAB team conducted the drives in Bakalia and Kotwali thana areas on February 25 and 27 and arrested them. 

They were handed over to the concerned police stations for further legal actions.
