BNP gives home to homeless family in Pirojpur

PIROJPUR, Mar 5, 2025 (BSS) – Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) stood by a homeless person by providing his family a house at Mathbaria upazila in the district today.

On behalf of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, a new house was handed over to the 70-year-old Abdus Sattar Khan, a resident of Ward number-4 of Shapleja union of Mathbaria upazila.

Former Juba Dal Central Assistant International Affairs Secretary AR Mamun Khan formally handed over the house to Sattar Khan in a house-giving-ceremony in the district.

The family members of Sattar expressed their heartfelt gratitude to BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman for this assistance.

Local UP member Md Mahabubur Rahman said that before the house was provided, the Sattar Khan family had been living at a 'Chapra Ghar' for the past 10 years.

They are very happy to get the new house, he added.

Jubo Dal leaders Tahsin Zaman Rumel, Oheduzzaman Milton, Asaduzzaman Monir and Abu Hanif Howlader and UP member Mahabubur Rahman were present, among others, on the occasion.
