Man killed in Dinajpur road crash

DINAJPUR, March 6, 2025 (BSS) - A man was killed and two others were injured in a road accident in Kalyani Bazar area under Birganj upazila of the district last night.

The deceased was identified as Bimal Roy, 50, son of Sedhem Roy, a resident of Narail village under the Satail union of the upazila.

The accident took place around 10 pm when a truck hit a motorcycle in the area, leaving its rider Bimal dead on the spot and two others injured, said Inspector Abdul Gafur, Officer-in-Charge of Birganj Police Station.

The injured were taken to Dinajpur Medical College Hospital in critical condition.
