Youth electrocuted in Habiganj

HABIGANJ, March 9, 2025 (BSS) - A youth was electrocuted at Lalchanbag village under Chunarughat upazila of the district this morning.
 
The deceased was Palash Mia, 32, son of Khalek Mia, a resident of the village.
 
Palash Mia came in touch with a live electric-cable while he was installing a water pump at his house around 9 am, said Alamgir Kabir, officer-in-charge (OC) of Habiganj Sadar Model Police Station.
 
Locals rescued him and sent to Habiganj Sadar Hospital where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.
