BOGURA, March 9, 2025 (BSS) - A couple was killed in a road accident on the Dhaka-Bogura highway in the Charmatha area of the district today.
The deceased were identified as Md. Sajal, 50, and his wife Hosne Ara, 45, residents of the Katnarpara area of the district.
The accident occurred around 2pm, when a microbus hit the couple's motorcycle, throwing them onto the road. At that moment, a speedy bus ran over them, said Monowaruzzaman, Officer-in-Charge of Bogura Kunderhat Highway Police.
Sajal died on the spot. Later, his wife was taken to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.
