NAOGAON, March 11, 2025 (BSS) - A couple was killed in a road accident at Khalishakuri intersection of the city in Naogaon district today.

The deceased were Afaz Uddin, 55, and his wife Bilkis Banu, 50, residents of Kola Palsa village in Chatangram union under Adamdighi upazila in Bogura district.

The accident took place on the Naogaon-Santahar road around 2pm when a truck hit a motorcycle from opposite direction, leaving bike rider couple dead on the spot, said Noor Alam Siddiqui, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Naogaon Sadar Police Station.

Police recovered the bodies and sent to Naogaon Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.

A case was filed in this connection.
