HABIGANJ, Mar 11, 2025 (BSS)- District administration has demolished today two illegal brick kilns in Nabiganj upazila.

The demolished brick kilns are ‘Gold Bricks’ and ‘Master Bricks’. Raw bricks of the brick kilns were destroyed during a raid conducted by the joint forces. 

District administration demolished two more brick kilns on Monday named ‘New Royel Bricks’ in Bosina area of Bahubal upazila and ‘Robin Bricks’ in Mirpur area. 

Officials said out of total 119 brick kilns in Habiganj districts, 30 have no environment clearance and license of 50 brick kilns expired long ago.

Department of Environment recently issues notice to the district administration for close the brick kilns having no license.
