CHATTOGRAM, April 22, 2025 (BSS) - Members of the Coast Guard have arrested a man along with firearms and contraband yaba tablets from the coastal area of Gohira in Anowara Thana of the district yesterday.

The arrestee was Showkat Ali of Anowara Thana.

On a tip-off, a team of Coast Guard raided the area and apprehended Showkat. 

They also seized one country-made gun, three rounds of bullets and 30,000 pieces of yaba tablets from his possession.

Legal action has been taken against him in this regard.
