3 youths killed in Cumilla train accident

CUMILLA, April 23, 2025 (BSS) - Three youths died as a train ran over them at Madhabpur under Burichang upazila of the district this morning.

Two of the deceased were identified as Saiful Islam, 18, son of Mokhlesur Rahman of Debidwarand and Md. Tuhin, 17, in Cumilla,
 
The youths died after being run over by the Udayan Express train from Sylhet to Chattogram, said Sohel Molla, in-charge of Cumilla Railway Police Outpost.

Police recovered the bodies and sent them to hospital morgue, said Sohel Molla, adding a case was registered with Laksam Railway police station in this regard.
