Night guard killed in Jhenaidah road crash

JHENAIDAH, April 23, 2025 (BSS) - A night guard was killed in a road accident in front of Alhera Academy adjacent to Hamdah Bypass in Sadar upazila here early this morning.
 
The deceased was Badal Molla, 55, son of Mokshed Ali of Chhota Kamarkundu Uttarpara village of the upazila. 
 
The accident occurred around 5am when a truck hit Badal on the Jhenaidah-Jashore highway, leaving him dead on the spot, said Abdullah Al Mamun, Officer-in-Charge of Sadar Police Station.
 
Police recovered the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital morgue.
