GAZIPUR, April 23, 2025 (BSS) - A man was killed and four others were injured 
in a road accident in Tepirbari area under Sripur upazila of the district 
this morning.
 
The deceased was identified as Ansarul, 65, son of the late Moin Uddin of 
Sardarpara village under Badarganj upazila in Rangpur.
 
The accident took place around 5.30 am on the Maona-Barmi highway when a CNG-
run auto-rickshaw hit a standing covered van as its driver lost control of 
the vehicle, leaving its passenger Ansarul dead on the spot and injuring four 
others, said Monowar Hossain, sub-inspector (SI) of Sripur Police Station.
 
The injured were taken to Sripur Upazila Health Complex and Gazipur Shaheed 
Tajuddin Ahmed Medical College Hospital, he added.
