One killed in Gazipur road accident

DHAKA, April 23, 2025 (BSS) - A labourer was killed and four others were injured in a road accident at Sripur upazila of Gazipur district today. 

The deceased was identified as Ansarul, 65, son of late Moin Uddin of Sardarpara village of Rangpur's Bodorganj upazila.

Locals said a CNG-run auto rickshaw was moving towards Bormi from Maona Pallibidyut area with five passengers, but the vehicle lost its control and hit a stationed covered van, leaving Ansarul dead on the spot and injured four others. 

The injured are undergoing treatment at Gazipur Saheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College.
