Man held over killing wife in Ctg

CHATTOGRAM, April 23, 2025 (BSS)- Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested a 
young man for allegedly killing his wife from Nishchintapara area of the 
city's Bandar thana last night.

The arrested was Moin Uddin, 30, son of late Azizul Haque hailed from Borobil 
area under Kaukhali upazila in Rangamati district.
 
Moin Uddin is the main accused of his wife Sharmin Akhter murder case.
 
According to the RAB, the arrested person strangulated to death his wife at 
their residence in the city's Pahartali area on September 9, 2024 after 
torturing her physically over a family feud.

After the incident, victim's mother filed a murder case with the city's 
Pahartali Police Station.
 
The accused was handed over to the concerned police station for further legal 
action, the sources added.
