JHENAIDAH, May 25, 2025 (BSS)- A preparatory meeting to observe the 44th martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman with due solemnity and respect was held at Kaliganj of the district.

BNP, Kaliganj upazila unit and municipality unit jointly organized the meeting at municipality auditorium.

BNP Kaliganj upazila unit convener Mahbubar Rahman presided over the meeting, while BNP upazila unit senior joint convener Dr Nurul Islam, joint conveners - Saidul Islam and Ilias Rahman Mithu and BNP municipality unit joint convener Mosharraf Karim, among others, were present at the meeting.

Elaborate programmes have been taken across the country, marking the martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman.
