JHENAIDAH, May 29, 2025 (BSS) - A college student was killed when a human 
hauler hit his motorcycle in Sarishaghata area under Maheshpur upazila of the 
district this afternoon.

The deceased was Saidur Rahman, 20, son of Mizanur Rahman of Shyamkur village 
of the upazila and also a second-year student of Government Padmapukur Degree 
College.

The accident occurred around 2 pm when a human hauler hit a motorcycle from 
the opposite direction, leaving the bike rider Saidur seriously injured, said 
Saiful Islam, officer-in-charge (OC) of Maheshpur Police Station.

Saidur was rushed to Jibannagar Upazila Health Complex where he succumbed to 
his injuries.
