BAGERHAT, Aug 3, 2025 (BSS) – In a bid to spread the light of education and help the underprivileged community, the Bangladesh Coast Guard has distributed educational materials among students of three schools in the Joymoni area of Mongla upazila in Bagerhat.

Under the initiative of the Coast Guard’s West Zone, a distribution programme was held this morning. A total of 200 students from Joymoni Secondary School, Joymonirghol Government Primary School and Joymonirghol Darussunnat Independent Ebtedayi and Hafizia Madrasa received essential learning materials at the programme.

The distributed materials included notebooks, pens, pencils, scales, erasers and pencil cutters.
