DHAKA, Aug 3, 2025 (BSS) - Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Prof Mia Golam 
Parwar has expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death eminent nuclear 
scientist, researcher, writer and educationist Professor Emeritus Dr M 
Shamsher Ali.

In a condolence message today, he said Shamsher Ali's demise is an 
irreparable loss in the field of science education and research in the 
country.

Professor Parwar said Shamsher Ali was not just a scientist rather he was a 
beacon of science. 

His relentless research in theoretical physics and philosophy of science has 
received wide recognition at home and abroad, he said.

Numerous research papers and books have enlightened readers and researchers, 
said Prof Parwar. 

He was a unique pioneer in bringing science to the common people and a 
follower of Islamic teachings in real life, said Jamaat secretary general.

He said as an educationist, the inspiration and light that Dr Shamsher Ali 
instilled in the minds of his students will remain a source of everlasting 
inspiration for future generations.

Prof Parwar prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and expressed 
his deepest condolences to the bereaved family, colleagues and well-wishers.
