Jamaat marks July Uprising anniversary in Bagerhat

BAGERHAT, August 5, 2025 (BSS)-The district unit of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami today organized a mass procession and rally to observe the first anniversary of the July Uprising.

The procession began from Dashani Intersection in Bagerhat. After parading the main streets of the city, it ended at the same place.

A rally followed at the same venue, where Jamaat Central Majlish-e-Shura member and District Ameer Maulana Rezaul Karim addressed as the chief guest.

District Jamaat Secretary Sheikh Mohammad Yunus, central Majlish-e-Shura member and district Nayeb-e-Ameer Maulana Sheikh Abdul Wadud, assistant secretary Prof Iqbal Hossain, Mizanur Rahman Mallick, Chhatra Shibir district president Hafez Morshed Alam, and secretary general Ahmed Abdullah were present on the occasion. 

In his speech, Maulana Rezaul Karim demanded visible progress in the trial of the July massacres.
