KHULNA, Aug 7, 2025 (BSS) - A joint team of law enforcement agencies arrested 
a man along with arms, ammunition, and drugs from his residence at East 
Baniakhamar main road in the city early today.
 
Sub-Inspector Tapon of Khulna Sadar Police Station confirmed the matter to 
BSS.

The arrested was Joynal Abedin Jony, 40, son of Ashraf Ali a resident of East 
Baniakhamar main road in the city. 

Acting on a tip-off, the joint team comprising members of the army, navy, and 
police conducted a raid at the residence of Jony and arrested him. 

During the operation, the team recovered one pipe gun, two rounds of bullets, 
and various types of drugs from his possession.

Preparations are underway to file a case in this connection.
