LAKSHMIPUR, Aug 11, 2025 (BSS) - Members of Joint Forces arrested a terrorist, accused in 23 cases, including a double murder case from Kangshanarayanpur area of Uttar Joypur union under Chandraganj upazila of the district early today.

The arrestee has been identified as Algamir Hossain alias Kadu Alamgir, 42, son of Abul Hossain of the same area. 

A total of 23 cases were pending against him, said Chandraganj Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Faizul Azim Noman.

Besides, police arrested another terrorist Al Amin, an accused in several cases including murder, from municipal town this morning, said Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md. Abdul Monnaf.
