Chattogram, Aug 14, 2025 (BSS) - The Coast Guard in Chattogram seized 1,000 litres of stolen soybean oil worth Tk 170,000 in the Patenga coast area today.

Lieutenant Rafid-as-Sami, a media officer for the Coast Guard Chattogram region, today said a suspicious engine-operated wooden boat was intercepted during the operation, and approximately 1,000 litres of stolen soybean oil were confiscated.

The seized boat and soybean oil are currently undergoing legal procedures for further action, he said.
