Army provides free treatments to over 300 patients in Khagrachhari

KHAGRACHHARI, Aug 27, 2025 (BSS) - As part of its ongoing humanitarian 
initiative, the Bangladesh Army organised a free medical camp today in 
Mahalchhari upazila of the district, offering vital healthcare services to 
local residents.

Free medical treatment and necessary medicines were provided to over 300 
local patients at this medical camp organised by Mahalchhari Army Zone at 
Singinala High School ground of the upazila this morning.

Captain Atanu Biswas, Regional Medical Officer (RMO) of Mahalchhari Zone, 
provided treatment to the patients for various diseases including itching, 
fever, anemia, diarrhea, cold cough and toothache. 

Captain Atanu Biswas said that such medical activities will continue on 
behalf of the army in the future.
