SHERPUR, Aug 28, 2025 (BSS) - Police arrested a man along with 75,000 Indian rupees from Nalitabari upazila in the district on Wednesday evening.
The arrestee was identified as Shahazada, son of Ismail Akand of Garjaripa area under Sribardi upazila.
He was detained from the Nanni Uttarband area during a drive on yesterday evening conducted by police, said Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Sohel Rana of Nalitabari Police Station.
A case has been filed in this connection.
Police produced him before the court at 2 pm today.
