KHULNA, Oct 13, 2025 (BSS) – Joint forces in a drive arrested a notorious criminal early Monday from the Mathavanga area under Lobonchora Police Station in Khulna.

The arrestee, identified as Hira, 35, son of Abu Sheikh of Mathavanga, was apprehended during a raid around 5 am.

Law enforcers recovered one foreign-made pistol, a magazine, 1,187 yaba tablets, and two mobile phones from his possession.

Separate cases under the Arms Act and Narcotics Control Act were filed against him with Lobonchora Police Station in this connection.
