Expatriate killed in Cumilla road accident

CUMILLA, Aug 28, 2025 (BSS) - An expatriate was killed in a road accident on the Dhaka-Chattogram highway in Sadar Dakshin Police Station here today.

The deceased was Abul Hossain, 45, son of Kalon Mia of Luipura village in Sadar Dakshin upazila.

The accident occurred around 4 pm near Paduar Bazar Bishwa Road when a lorrey ran over Abul. He died on the spot, said Mainamati Highway Police Station in-charge Iqbal Bahar Majumdar.
