Father, daughter killed in Mirsarai road accident

CHATTOGRAM, Sept 12, 2015 (BSS) – A man and his three-year-old daughter were killed and four others injured in a road accident on the Dhaka-Chattogram Highway in Mirsarai upazila this morning.

The deceased were identified as Mohammad Golam Sarwar, 42, and his daughter Muskan.

Police said they were traveling from Dhaka to Cox’s Bazar for a vacation when their private car lost control and rammed into a stationary covered van around 8:30 am. Sarwar and Muskan died on the spot, while four others sustained injuries.

Fire service personnel from Mirsarai recovered the bodies and handed them over to highway police.
Of the injured, two are undergoing treatment at Mirsarai Upazila Health Complex, while the other two were admitted to Chattogram Medical College Hospital.
