Jamaat holds health camp in Cumilla

CUMILLA, Oct 03, 2025 (BSS) – As part of its social service activities, Jamaat-e-Islami Cumilla Metropolitan today launched a three-day free medical camp at Telikona in the city.

A total of 20 specialist doctors, led by National Doctors Forum (NDF) President Dr. Zahir Uddin Mohammad Babar, provided various medical services to local patients.

The physicians examined patients for various diseases, including diabetes and high blood pressure.
More than 1,500 patients received free treatment and medicines at the health camp.

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Cumilla Metropolitan Ameer Kazi Din Mohammad spoke as the chief guest, while Nayeb-e-Ameer of the city Professor AKM Emdadul Haque Mamun attended as the special guest.

Among others, working committee member Professor Zakir Hossain, regional director Maulana Lutfur Rahman Khan Masum, executive member of the Workers' Welfare Federation Cumilla Md. Kalimullah, and Jamaat leader Md. Zahirul Islam were present.

The health camp was conducted by Jamaat leader Russell Ahmed.
