NARSINGDI, Oct 5, 2025 (BSS) - Police arrested today a man with 45-kg ganja from the Nowadia area on the Dhaka-Sylhet Highway under Shibpur upazila of the district.

The arrested was identified as Al Mamun, 38, of Kamalganj upazila in Moulvibazar district.

Acting on a tip-off, the Detective Branch (DB) of police intercepted the driver of a pick-up van and arrested Mamun with 45-kg of ganja.

Narsingdi Superintendent of Police (SP) Md. Menhajul Alam confirmed the matter.
