CHATTOGRAM, Oct  20, 2025 (BSS)- ACC hasfiled a case against Rezaul Karim Khokon, former mayor of Baroirhat Municipality and former general secretary of Mirsarai Upazila Awami League. 

Deputy assistant director of the ACC Jasim Uddin filed the case on charge of concealing information in the asset declaration submitted to the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) and amassing wealth beyond his known income.
 
The case statement alleged that the commission initiated an investigation against Rezaul Karim based on a complaint filed with the ACC. 

According to the allegation, Rezaul Karim Khokon concealed information about immovable assets worth Taka 11.44 lakh in his asset declaration submitted to the ACC.

He also amassed wealth of more than Taka Taka 1.44 crore beyond his known income.
